MIST Organizes “Honesty and Engineering Ethics” Seminar for Future Engineers
The Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) hosted a seminar titled “Honesty and Engineering Ethics” on 22 December 2025, organized by the Department of Science and Humanities.
The seminar highlighted the role of moral development in personal and national progress. Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor of IUT, spoke on the significance of ethics in engineering. This was followed by Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad of BRAC University, who discussed AI and Engineering Ethics. Interactive forum sessions allowed students to engage directly with the speakers. The seminar was graced by Major General Md Nasim Parvez, Commandant of MIST, as the Chief Guest, who concluded the program with an inspiring address on leadership and guidance for future engineers
